Tris Vonna-Michell

Tris Vonna-Michell (1982, in Southend-on-Sea, UK) currently lives and works in Stockholm (Sweden). Tris Vonna-Michell attended the Glasgow School of Art (UK) and the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main, and was a resident artist at Iapsis Residency in Stockholm (2008), Focal Point Gallery in Essex (2009) and at the Yale University Art Gallery (2011-12). He was a finalist for the Turner Prize in 2014 and received the Ars Viva as well as the Bâloise Art prizes, both in 2008.
