Shintaro Nakaoka

Shintaro Nakaoka (1957, Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture, Japan), studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tama, graduating in 1980. In 1997, he lived in Portugal as an artist in residence, representing the Japanese Ministry of Culture. Since 2000, Nakaoka has been teaching in the sculpture department at the University of Porto.
