Roberto Chichorro
Roberto Chichorro (1941, Mozambique) completed a course in Civil Construction and worked as an advertising and architecture draftsman, as well as a decorator for pavilions at international fairs in Mozambique. He also created sets for performances and illustrated books. His works are spread across various institutions, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Luanda. Chichorro's paintings are characterized by the use of vibrant colors in distinctly African tones, representing the vitality of the people of Africa, with a tone rich in "poeticism and dreaminess."
