Paulo Ossião

Paulo Ossião(1952, Lisbon) attended the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon. Ossião is recognized as the most important Portuguese watercolorist of today. The unmistakable blues are present throughout his work, which goes beyond sublime watercolors. The renowned visual artist also explores sculpture, tile painting, and pastel drawing. In 2024, the Portuguese Navy awarded Paulo Ossião the title of "Painter of the Navy" in recognition of his work focused on the sea and maritime themes.
