
Paulo Catrica
Paulo Catrica (Portugal, 1965) studied photography at Ar.Co., Lisbon (1985). He holds a degree in History from the Lusíada University, Lisbon (1992), a Master's in Image and Communication from Goldsmith’s College, London (1997), and a PhD in Photography Studies from the University of Westminster, London (2011). He has taught at the Lusófona University (2010-2014), ESMAE, Polytechnic of Porto (2010-2014), ESAD, Caldas da Rainha (2010-2011), Atelier de Lisboa (2010-2016), FBAUL, University of Lisbon (2016-2020), and the School of Arts of the Catholic University, Porto (2011–). He is a researcher at the Institute of Contemporary History at the Nova University of Lisbon (since 2014). He lives and works in Lisbon, PT. He was nominated for the BES Photo Award in 2011 (Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon, PT).
