Marina Camargo

Marina Camargo (Brazil, 1980) studied visual arts and holds a Diploma from Akademie der Bildenden Künste München (Germany), a Bachelor and a Master degree from Instituto de Artes at UFRGS (Porto Alegre – Brazil), and studied Visual Culture at Universitat de Barcelona (Spain). Camargo’s work is anchored around ongoing investigations that materialize in drawings, installations, sculptures, and videos. She explores a notion of displacement in her work, either as a physical or a conceptual displacement.
