Lino Damião

Lino Damião works primarily in painting, photography, and printmaking. He began drawing and painting at an early age, attending a drawing course at the Ex-Barracão; at UNAP, he studied painting and the first workshop. He also spent time in the studio of the great master Victor Teixeira (Viteix). He is a founding member of the Pró-Memória dos Nacionalistas cooperative and a member of the National Union of Plastic Artists. He has participated in several exhibitions, including the first CPLP Young Creators Biennale in Porto (Portugal, 2000), the Galarte project at the Elinga Theater (between 2000 and 2006), and the Luanda Triennale.
