KEYEZUA
Lola Keyezua (2014, Royal Academy, The Hague) returned to Luanda after graduating in 2014, where she lived from 2015 to 2019. This period allowed her to explore themes of black identity and the black body. Over the years, the artist has worked in various media, including sculpture, photography, painting, and installations, creating a body of work that reflects her emotions and influences drawn from life in Angola/Africa. The female body remains the central theme of her creative process, serving as a source of inspiration as she seeks to portray pain and her own version of a female revolution.
